Kyiv – On 14-19 August in Kyiv. the fourth session of the Patriarchal Sobor (Assembly) of the Ukrainian Greek Catholic Church (UGCC) on the topic “Youth in the Church of Third Millennium” will be conducted. On 18-19 August, as part of the sobor a youth congress with the participation of no less than 1000 people from every eparchy of the UGCC in Ukraine and the maximum number of participants from the diaspora will be conducted. ugcc.org.ua posted the story on 18 June 2007.
According to Fr. Rostyslav Pendiuk, secretary of the fourth session of the sobor, its main tasks are to understand the modern state of youth in the church and, having studied that, to find answers to the question: “What can be done to improve this state?”
